    Cognate with Galician cenoria, Mirandese cenoura, Asturian and Spanish zanahoria (and its descendants into other languages), Maltese zunnarija, Catalan safanòria, Basque azenario and Libyan Arabic سفنّاريّة (sfənnāriyya).
