• The form with all-lower-case боже (bože) seems to be more common in writing.
• дай боже (daj bože) is generally used when someone is cheering up someone else and is trying to manifest that a certain desired thing happens, whereas кед Бог да (ked Boh da) may be used of oneself. Following Serbo-Croatian tradition, it may also be used just before drinking strong alcohol or liquor.
