1. (somewhat formal) although (often followed by ki)

   Synonyms: baxmayaraq ki, halbuki, (archaic) əgərçi

   Hərçənd (ki) qar yağır, soyuq deyil. ― Although it is snowing, it is not cold.

A less formal way to express concession is to use conditional + də/da:

• Qar yağsa da, soyuq deyil. ― Although it is snowing, it is not cold.
