Reconstruction:Proto-Tupi-Guarani/ɨβɨra
Proto-Tupi-Guarani
Noun
*ɨβɨra[1]
Reconstruction notes
Mello mistakenly reconstructs the protoform as *ɨβɨr, based on a misinterpretation of Old Tupi ybyrá as *ybyr. Yet, he reconstructs the correct *ɨβɨra in number 717, with the gloss “(litte) stick”.[2]
