หอยแมลงภู่
Thai
Etymology
From หอย (hɔ̌i, “shellfish”) + แมลงภู่ (má-lɛɛng-pûu, “carpenter bee”), presumably due to similarity in appearance and coloration of mussels to carpenter bees.
