y- (3rd person object prefix) + -yi- (transitional) + ∅- (3rd person subject prefix) + -ł- (classifier, causative) + -d- (classifier)-zhį́į́h (transitional imperfective stem of root -ZHĮ́Į́ʼ, “to be black”). Literally, to cause it to become a black speck
