    1. A mite which, by puncturing the rind, causes the rust-coloured patches on citrus fruit.

      2. A citrus rust mite (Phyllocoptruta oleivora).
    2. A mite of species Aceria anthocoptes, found on Cirsium arvense, (Canada thistle).
