noribogaine (plural noribogaines)
- The principal metabolite of ibogaine; psychoactive, and thought to be involved in the antiaddictive effects of ibogaine.

- Recent work from Professor Paul Glue’s team in New Zealand used noribogaine, the active metabolite of ibogaine. They showed that the impact on the heart is dose related, so using lower doses with careful cardiac monitoring seems a sensible way forward.
