- From the Zaporizhzhya Airport, Leonid Kuchma went to the urban settlement Stepnohirsk. There, the president met with the leadership of Vasylivskyy Rayon and also of the Tavriya Mining-Concentration Combine, whose fate has already been sealed — the enterprise will be closed down. As a result, more than 7,000 residents of the settlement that depended fully on the mining-concentration combine have found themselves in a difficult situation.
