From the atonal Hanyu Pinyin romanization of the Mandarin pronunciation of Chinese 豐鎬 / 丰镐 (Fēnghào) and 灃鎬 / 沣镐 (Fēnghào, “Feng & Hao”), the two parts of the twin city.
