1913, “Jews in Muncie”, in Indiana Magazine of History, volumes 80–81, Indiana University, page 135:Herschel Ringold joined his son-in-law Moses Cohen in the scarp business a year after Moses opened his yard, but he left part of his family in Indianapolis. Herschel’s son Samuel remained in the Circle City in order to finish his schooling.
