1. (usually uncountable) dust
   • Tanach, Exodus 28:24, with translation of the New International Version:

     יִתֵּן יְהוָה אֶת־מְטַר אַרְצְךָ אָבָק וְעָפָר מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִם יֵרֵד עָלֶיךָ עַד הִשָּׁמְדָךְ׃
