The Directorate General of Coastal Safety (DGCS, Turkish: Kıyı Emniyeti Genel Müdürlüğü, KEGM) has been established by the Turkish Republic Council Of Ministers’ decision on 12 May 1997 as a General Directorate and state owned Organization.
